In celebration of International Women’s Day 2025, the International Cooperative Alliance Africa (ICA-Africa) hosted a Validation Workshop on the Establishment of the National Cooperative Gender Platform (NCGP) on March 28, 2025, in Nairobi, Kenya (hybrid event). The Validation Workshop played a critical role in refining and validating the NCGP framework, ensuring that it effectively addresses gender disparities and fosters inclusive policies within cooperatives. It offered a unique opportunity to collaborate with government bodies, cooperative leaders, gender experts, and international organizations to shape a gender-responsive platform that empowers women and marginalized groups in cooperative governance and decision-making.
