From July 8 to 11, 2025, the Institut international des coopératives Alphonse-et-Dorimène-Desjardins (IICADD) will host the Global Research Conference of the International Cooperative Alliance in Montreal. This must-attend event for cooperative researchers will bring together numerous stakeholders from the international cooperative ecosystem, including practitioners and policymakers.
The conference will emphasize the importance of intercooperation in creating transformative change for justice, sustainability, and prosperity. This topic is particularly relevant as 2025 will mark the United Nations International Year of Cooperatives. In addition to offering a significant discussion platform on the role of cooperatives in implementing the Sustainable Development Goals, the conference will cover several topics related to cooperation, including cooperative governance, business models, and education.
This ICA CCR 2025 Global Research Conference is organized by the IICADD, in collaboration with the International Cooperative Alliance Committee on Cooperative Research (ICA CCR) and supported by the Canadian Association for Studies in Co-operation (CASC).
