The BCCM is the national apex organisation for Australian cooperatives and mutuals. BCCM advocates for an enabling business environment for all Australian coops and mutuals and works to increase awareness of the contribution of coops and mutuals to the Australian economy and community development. They develop and run education and training programs for coops and coop leaders, run industry events and conferences, and undertake research projects to reveal the importance of coops and mutuals. BCCM has developed a framework for measuring the total value coops create called Mutual Value Measurement: www.bccm.coop 

BCCM is Mutual Company governed by its members.
