As the global voice of the co-operative movement, we are committed to educating co-operatives about the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), helping co-operative enterprises respond to the UN’s call to action and collecting information about co-operative contributions to the 2030 Agenda, in order to better position co-operatives as partners throughout the implementation process.
What is coops for 2030?
Co-ops for 2030 is a campaign for co-operatives to learn more about the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), commit to pledges to contribute to achieving the SDGs, and report their progress.

We have identified the targets within the 17 SDGs of to co-operatives. The identified targets are grouped into three main action areas: eradicating poverty, improving access to basic goods and services and protecting the environment. Co-operatives active in the food and agriculture sector have a designated space to explore their impact, thanks to the support of the .
Within each action areas are the relevant targets, suggested pledges for co-operatives to make to achieve those targets and suggested indicators for co-operatives to track their progress.
