The Alliance held a Meeting of Members (General Assembly) in conjunction with the 2nd International Summit of Cooperatives, in Québec City, Canada, on Sunday, 5 October 2014, at 5:00pm.
With the establishment of the Alliance in Belgium, the Alliance is now required to convene an annual meeting of the members. This annual meeting is primarily to accept the audit and to perform any other required action. The majority of decisions will be reserved for the biennial General Assemblies that are convened in conjunction with our Global Conference, to be held every two years.

Motion to approve the auditor
The motion to approve the appointment of RSM Belgium as the auditor for a term of 3 years until the General Assembly of 2017 approves the annual accounts of 2016 was passed with 409 in favour, 32 against and 4 abstentions.
