The Alliance is trying something new for our 2017 Global Conference, “Co-operatives: Putting people at the centre of development”. Delegates will enjoy this year more occasions for networking than ever before, to help them build relationships with fellow co-operators and explore potential business opportunities.
What kinds of networking opportunities will be offered?
In addition to our gala dinner and closing reception, there will be a dedicated networking event at the Malaysian Carnival of Co-operatives’ Products and Services, the annual exhibition of Malaysian co-operatives.
We have also included a dedicated ‘network’ stream of sessions that will allow conference delegates to meet with co-operators who share particular interests. There’s a session for young co-operators. There’s one for delegates to meet and chat with our Global Board candidates. A session for government agencies, international organisations and participants interested in the field of co-operative law and national legal frameworks.
