Following the retirement of Charles Gould, the search for the International Co-operative Alliance’s Director General has started with the publication this week of a position announcement. The role is appointed by, and accountable to, the Board and President of the Alliance.
The Director General is responsible for ensuring the business of the Alliance is carried out in accordance with the Values and Principles of the organisation, alongside the rulebook and the strategy agreed by the Board.
The position is open until successfully filled although there is a target date for receiving first round applications by 23 October 2017.
