Mr. Abdelfattah M. Q. Al-Shalabi has served as Director General of the Jordan Co-operative Corporation since 2021, bringing over two decades of experience in financial management, cooperative development, and public sector accounting. Previously, he served as Assistant Director General for Financial Affairs at the Agricultural Credit Corporation (2014–2021). He holds a Master's degree in Banking and Financing for Development from the University of Bergamo, Italy, and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Yarmouk University, Jordan. 

Mr. Al-Shalabi led the development of Jordan's Co-operatives Law of 2025 and the establishment of the Cooperative Development Fund and Cooperative Development Institute. He also spearheaded the National Strategy for the Cooperative Movement (2021–2025), strengthened agricultural credit mechanisms, promoted women and youth participation in sustainable cooperatives, and oversaw international partnerships to enhance cooperative capacity and impact. 

He actively represents Jordan at regional and international cooperative forums and led the successful hosting of the 11th Asia-Pacific Cooperative Ministerial Conference at the Dead Sea in 2024, bringing together delegates from 32 countries. Mr. Al-Shalabi also serves as Vice Chairman of the Arab Cooperative Union and holds board memberships in several national institutions supporting economic, agricultural, and cooperative development.
