Doug O’Brien is President and CEO of NCBA CLUSA, the apex association representing U.S. cooperatives. He has served for two years on the ICA Board and has been active on the Audit and Risk Committee, Policy Committee, G20 Working Group, and ad hoc committees. Doug was honored to contribute to ICA’s 2026–2030 strategy and is committed to supporting its implementation. He has represented ICA at the United Nations and works closely with ICA Americas to strengthen alignment between the U.S. co-op community and the global movement. His work focuses on policy, cooperative identity, and expanding cooperatives’ impact.
