The 2022 ICA General Assembly was organised on 20 June 2022 in Seville, Spain, and hosted by the Spanish Confederation of Worker Cooperatives (COCETA, as the acronym in Spanish).
Around 400 cooperative leaders from 60 countries gathered in Seville, for the General Assembly. The members of the ICA have renewed the mandate of Ariel Guarco for the next four years as the President of the ICA. A new Board of Directors has also been elected. The General Assembly also included a speech from the Chair of COOPUkraine, an ICA member from Ukraine, sharing the situation of the cooperative movement in the country and calling for support. Read more about this here.

It also shared a report on the activities of the ICA and took stock of the structural and institutional progress of the ICA since our last elective General Assembly held in November 2017.
