The 2022 ICA General Assembly was organised on 20 June 2022 in Seville, Spain, and hosted by the Spanish Confederation of Worker Cooperatives (COCETA, as the acronym in Spanish). 
 
Around 400 cooperative leaders from 60 countries gathered in Seville, for the General Assembly. The members of the ICA have renewed the mandate of Ariel Guarco for the next four years as the President of the ICA. A new Board of Directors has also been elected. Twenty-two candidates were standing for 15 seats on the Board. Visit this page for the full list of ICA Board members for the mandate 2022-2026.
 
The General Assembly also included a speech from the Chair of COOPUkraine, an ICA member from Ukraine, sharing the situation of the cooperative movement in the country and calling for support. Read more about this here.
 
The full agenda is in the official meeting documentation below which included important items for decision such as the mentioned election of the President and ICA Board, Approval of the 2021 Accounts. It also shared a report on the activities of the ICA and took stock of the structural and institutional progress of the ICA since our last elective General Assembly held in November 2017.
