Marjaana Saarikoski (MSc Econ.) has been serving the consumer cooperative S Group since 1983 in various leadership positions in sales, marketing, chain/concept management and membership program. Ms Saarikoski has wide business experience of retailing and cooperation with stakeholders, including the national and global cooperative movement. She is a committed member of the Board of the ICA and Euro Coop Presidency. Her first term at the ICA Board and at the ICA Gender Equality Committee as Vice Chair has shown her the need for global cooperation and stronger advocacy to strengthen the competitiveness of the cooperatives.
