Summit launches TOP.coop competition

24 Jun 2014

The International Summit of Cooperatives started a new contest to promote co-operative enterprises. TOP.coop is an initiative that aims to honour and raise the profile of enterprises that showcase their co-operative or mutualist position through innovative ad campaigns and communication strategies.

The competition is open to any co-operative or mutualist business that promotes its co-operative or mutualist difference. Advertising, marketing and public relations agencies can enter as well, but they must be presented and recognised by a co-operative or mutual organisation in order to compete in one of the three categories: advertising/marketing, interactive/new media, mobilisation/involvement.

The competition was launched on 16 June and co-ops and mutual have until 25 July to submit their entries. To enter the contest eligible co-operatives and mutual must register at: http://www.sommetinter.coop/cms/site/home.

Each entry must involve one or more campaigns or communication in the advertising, marketing, interactive, new media and mobilisation and involvement categories and must have been implemented between 1 January 2011 and 30 June 2014.

The winners will be announced on 9 October at the awards gala of the International Summit of Cooperatives in Quebec. Read more https://www.omnicontests4.com/common/fileuploads/Reglements_En_V2.pdf
