The International Cooperative Alliance recently welcomed the Educational Cooperative Union from Jordan as a new member.
A national-level cooperative union, the Educational Cooperative Union contributes to drafting, implementing and adhering to Jordan’s educational policy. The union is also active in implementing economic and social projects in the field of education; assisting members in securing their educational material needs; spreading the cooperative culture and holding training courses. Its members are multi-purpose cooperative societies.
The newest membership statistics are therefore: 318 member organisations of which 277 are full members and 41 are Associate Members from 110 countries.
