Ariel Guarco is an Argentine cooperative leader with extensive experience in both the national and international cooperative movement. He began his work with the Coronel Pringles Electric Cooperative and later served as president of the Federation of Electrical and Public Service Cooperatives of Buenos Aires Province (Fedecoba) and the Cooperative Confederation of the Republic of Argentina (Cooperar).
Elected president of the International Cooperative Alliance in 2017 and re-elected in 2022.
Author of four books on cooperativism, he regularly participates as a speaker at academic, institutional, and cooperative movement events around the world.
