Rose Marley is Chief Executive of Co-operatives UK and a Director of the International Co-operative Alliance (ICA). She chairs the International Co-operative Working Group (ICWG), leading the UK co-operative movement's international engagement. Rose played a leading role in positioning the UK during the UN International Year of Cooperatives and works with ministers and policymakers to shape national policy for co-operative and mutual enterprise. She also advised Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham on co-operatives and social enterprise. Before joining the movement, Rose was a successful entrepreneur in the UK's music and technology industries, bringing an entrepreneurial perspective to international co-operative leadership.
