Ünal Örnek is an Agricultural Economist and cooperative development specialist from Türkiye with over 30 years of experience in cooperative governance, rural development, agricultural organizations and international cooperation. He serves as Education, Research and International Relations Coordinator of ORKOOP, Board Member of Cooperative Europe, and Advisor to the Board of ICAO. He has worked with FAO, the World Bank and leading agricultural organizations in Turkiye. A recognized author, speaker and advocate for cooperatives, he has represented Turkish cooperatives in numerous international forums and actively promotes sustainable development, inclusion, solidarity and peace through cooperative action.
