The International Health Cooperative Organisation convened its General Assembly on 30 November, gathering 23 delegates from 12 countries to discuss current issues and plan the organisation’s future initiatives.
IHCO’s president Carlos Zarco presented a detailed report outlining the organisation’s milestones and endeavours to advance cooperative healthcare solutions globally.
During the assembly, participants also heard reports from member cooperatives, with delegates sharing noteworthy achievements and activities within their communities. These exchanges encourage knowledge-sharing among member organisations and foster intercooperation.
Additionally, IHCO proudly welcomed Sermecoop, a Chilean health cooperative that became its 20th organisational full member. This expansion of IHCO’s network consolidates the organisation and confirms the global growth of the cooperative healthcare model.
