High Chief Ayeola was elected as President of ICA-Africa at their last Regional Assembly held in October 2021.
High Chief Ayeola Tajudeen Oriyomi is a graduate of Economics Education and has over 27 years of cooperative experience having presided over all the four tiers of Cooperative Administration in Nigeria. He is presently the President of Cooperative Federation of Nigeria.
As President of ICA-Africa, he contributed to the agriculture value chain by encouraging production and sales of Coop Foods, pioneered health care schemes; and enhanced the contributions of cooperatives in real estate with the construction of a befitting Secretariat for a State Cooperative Movement.
He joins the ICA Board with a mission to add value to cooperatives in Africa and join hands with progressive Cooperative Leaders in other regions of the world towards an enhanced global Cooperative Movement.
He has proven his leadership skills with the enhanced visibility and dynamism witnessed by the Cooperative Movement in Nigeria under his leadership. Presently, CFN is in partnership with the Federal Government of Nigeria for provision of social housing to the populace through Cooperatives. Aside his leadership skills, he is also experienced in Board proceedings being a Board Member of Cooperative Mortgage Bank Ltd, Nigeria and Coop. Holding LTD.
