Co-operative Women’s Day 2012 'We Build A Better World'

As part of our celebrations of the UN International Year of Co-operatives and in partnership with Care International we are inviting you to join us to celebrate the achievements and contributions of women in building a better world. Speak Up for Women! In 2012 women have so much to celebrate and so many kindred spirits for you to hear from that each of our wonderful speakers will have just 12 minutes to inspire you. You will have the chance to hear about: -Care International and their campaign ‘A Walk in Her Shoes’ and how you can get involved locally to raise vital funds for CARE’s poverty fighting work. -The Co-operative Women’s Challenge and help choose the next part of the campaign. Plus speakers on our Co-operative campaigns, Fairtrade, the Global Poverty Project, and the impact of inequality on our society. Take a Stand for Women!
