The Competition
As part of our International Year Celebrations, the ICA launched a global artistic competition designed to encourage young people (16-35) to creatively express their views on co-operative principles. There were three different categories for the competition: music, video and photography. The aim was to create a song, a video or a photograph that promote the principles of co-operation in a way attractive to young people and to raise their awareness about the co-operative movement worldwide.
The Shortlist
The submissions have now been examined by a jury and the shortlist of finalists for each category has been chosen.

Prizes
- 1st prize in each category - USD 3,000 and a trip to Manchester in November 2012
- 2nd prize in each category - USD 1,500
- 3rd prize in each category - a tablet computer
