International Cooperative Alliance and International Labour Organization launch survey on co-operatives and women’s empowerment

Twenty years after the Fourth World Conference on Women (held in Beijing) it is necessary to discover to what extent and in what areas co-operatives have succeeded in providing opportunities for women, and where there is room for improvement. This survey is a part of an initiative of the International Labour Organization and the International Co-operative Alliance. It requires approximately ten minutes to complete. The main objective is to assess the impact of co-operatives on women’s empowerment and gender equality globally. 

The results of this research will be publicly available although individual respondents will remain anonymous. Your participation would be greatly appreciated. Please complete the survey by February 18, 2015.
